Honestly, it kind of feels like sometimes you’re sabotaging yourself and you know it’s time to stop and get it together. It’s time for you to prosper–spiritually, physically and financially.
I graduated college with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a M.S. in Engineering Management. Like most of us, I grew up being told that if you do good in school, go to college and get a good job, then you’ll be set for life. I quickly learned that was NOT the case. After landing that “good job”, I discovered that I was not working in my passion or purpose and if I didn’t quickly find something meaningful and purposeful to pour myself into, I was either going to go crazy or quit my job.
Financial planning became my escape. I enrolled in a program through Boston University and earned my Certificate in Financial Planning. With a pending layoff headed my way due to a client acquisition, I looked for a position in the Financial Planning industry and landed a job with a planner who represented a top-tier Financial Planning company.
I had to have a come-to-Jesus talk with myself and let myself know that it’s time to get it together. For a few years now, I’ve been living by the verse from 3 John 1:2 that says,
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
This verse is why I do what I do; I want to leave a legacy of holistic prosperity to my two boys and equip other women to do the same for their families.

I studied at the Center for the Musically Talented in Pittsburgh, PA for 6 years as a percussion major. I was drum line captain in high school and then played the flute for The Ohio’s Pride Marching Band in college. I secretly want to play the tympani in the Olympic orchestra.

In the Greek and Hebrew definitions of the word prosper in the Bible, prosperity equates to success, happiness, favor, goodness, prudence, peace and completeness. I don’t know about you but those are attributes I gladly welcome into my life. Those are things you can have if you seek God first and apply His principles to your life.
